WORCESTER’S Got 2 Sing choir whipped up a grand total for Macmillan cancer support by helping to raise over £2,700 through a coffee morning.
Members baked and bought cakes to help raise the cash alongside its sister choirs across the Midlands.
Cash raised will support Macmillan’s vital work including funding its nurses and helping to have staff answering calls on its support line.
Choir leader Cathy Hart said: “The Coffee Morning is such a fantastic initiative by Macmillan and an opportunity for our members to give something back.
“One in two of us will face cancer, and the money raised helps everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can. ”
