MOVE over Tom Cruise – residents at a Worcester care home have been shaking things up for World Cocktail Day.
The Belmont Care Home celebrated in style with an interactive cocktail-making experience.
Local business owner James Taylor, founder of Keystones Cocktail Club, volunteered his time alongside two expert mixologists to guide residents through the art of crafting the perfect cocktail.
The lively session saw residents donning aprons and cocktail shakers as they tried their hand at mixing classic concoctions such as the Mai Tai and the Old Fashioned, complete with eye-catching garnishes of burnt cinnamon sticks and dried oranges.
The fun wasn’t limited to residents – staff also joined in the fun, creating their own cocktail masterpieces under the expert guidance of the Keystones team.
Abi Hargreaves, customer relations manager at The Belmont, said: “Our thanks to James and the Keystones Cocktail Club staff for joining forces with us to create a fabulously different and entertaining afternoon to mark World Cocktail Day for our wonderful residents. It is always great to collaborate with other businesses within the community and to bring new and exciting events and activities to The Belmont.”
