A WORCESTER assault has been captured on CCTV prompting police to urge the victim to come forward.
Between 7am and 7.15am on Thursday (February 26), the victim is seen walking along Cecil Road when he was approached by another man who pushed him several times.
The victim then left the area and has not reported the assault to the police.
The description of the victim is a white man who was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, a black beanie hat and he was carrying a black backpack.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Todd said: “We have seen from CCTV that a man was assaulted on Cecil Road last Thursday and we are appealing for the victim to come forward.
“I must stress that he is in no trouble with the police and we just want to check he is ok after the assault.
“We would like to give him the opportunity to contact us before we consider releasing any CCTV images of him.”
