The pedestrian was taken to the major trauma centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after being involved in the collision in Worcester yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) was called at 4.11pm and an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.

“Crews arrived to find the pedestrian, a woman, with serious injuries from the collision,” a WMAS spokesperson said.

“She was given advanced trauma care on scene and taken by ambulance to Birmingham’s QE on blue lights and sirens, with treatment continuing en-route.”
