Witnesses sought following Hindlip Hall crash

POLICE are urging anyone who may have witnessed a crash between a lorry and a car near Hindlip Hall to come forward.

The incident occurred between 6am and 6.30am on Monday (February 22) when an articulated lorry was involved in a collision with a blue Vauxhall Zafira.

It’s believed the lorry attempted to turn around in the driveway of Smite caravan site before driving off in the direction of Martin Hussingtree village.

Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene and a man in his fifties was taken to hospital with head and chest injuries.




Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or drivers who may have dash cam footage of the lorry, which was seen parked in a nearby lay-by shortly before the collision.

Anyone with information is urged to call the police on 101, quoting incident number 54s of 22 February.
