Worcester Editorial 13th Jan, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

THE MET Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow across Worcestershire.

Showers of hail, sleet and snow on Tuesday (January 13) evening could leave a covering of 3cm to 6cm in places, especially on higher ground.

A yellow warning has also been issued for ice with forecasters suggesting residents should be aware of the risk of tricky driving conditions.

The latest forecast for Worcester by the Met Office suggests suggests light snow could fall from 9pm this evening into the early hours.

The yellow warning currently in place for the West Midlands for snow urges residents to ‘be aware’ of the situation.
