Wills were a good way to boost the hospice

Worcester Editorial 26th Mar, 2019   0

LAWYERS at a Worcester law firm have raised more than £3,800 for local hospice as part of a Will-writing drive.

mfg Solicitors recently offered its services for free in support of St Richard’s Hospice’s ‘Write a Will’ month – a project aimed at encouraging people to realise the importance of planning for the future.

Write a Will month continues to be a hugely popular annual scheme with people across Worcester and the surrounding area as it gives them the opportunity to have their will professionally prepared for a discounted cost.

Ria Simons, St Richard’s Hospice corporate fund-raiser, said: “Through the kindness of mfg Solicitors we are able to raise more money to continue offering our services for free to patients and their families.

“We depend on donations and legacies from generous supporters to raise the millions of pounds we need every year to provide our services.”
