When to put your bins out this Christmas

BIN COLLECTIONS in Worcester will run one day later than usual during Christmas week while there will also be temporary changes to the commercial waste service in the city.

Residents are asked to have their bin out by 7am a day after their normal collection date and reminded Christmas cards and large cardboard boxes can be recycled in their green bin.

Tin foil and tinsel need to go in the black bin and normal collections will resume on Tuesday, January 2 when green bins will be emptied.

The Saturday residential skip service will not operate on Saturday at Dines Green Community Centre and Weir Lane and will resume on Saturday, January 6 when the skips will be at Shap Drive and New Inn car park.




Bulky household collctions will resume on January 8.

The Worcestershire Hub call centre and Customer Service Centre at the Hive will closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day while the Guildhall will be closed from Saturday until Tuesday, January 2.
