A MOVING video has been shared of a couple getting married earlier today at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Malcolm, who was admitted to the hospital last week following chest pain, married his long-term partner Maureen from his bed.

It came after he was given the heart-breaking news that he had terminal lung cancer which was picked up on scans.

The wedding was arranged at short notice with the help of hospital staff.

The team gathered around Malcolm’s bed, which had a ‘Just Married’ sign above it, and threw confetti over the couple as they exchanged rings and he kissed the bride.

A Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust spokesperson said: “Congratulations to the couple for finally tying the knot after ten years of engagement.”
