A GRATEFUL mum whose baby boy arrived more than three months early and weighed slightly more than a bag of sugar has shared a video to celebrate his first birthday

Aimee Graham shared the video (above) with staff at the Neonatal and Transitional Care units at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Baby James was born at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital on October 22, 2019, 27 weeks and three days into mum Aimee’s pregnancy. He spent more than 10 weeks in the neonatal unit including his first Christmas before being allowed home on January 3.

The brave warrior weighed just 1,100 grams (1.1kg) when he was born and the heart-warming video (above) chronicles his journey from his early days in the unit to being allowed home with his proud parents.

Celebrations for his first birthday are also shown and Neonatal bosses thanked Aimee for sharing his journey.
