AN exhibition showcasing the art and design work from final year students will be revealed tomorrow.
The University of Worcester’s annual final year show will begin on Thursday, May 19 with a private viewing and will then continue from Friday, May 20 through to Friday, May 27.
The show will present work by final year students studying on Art & Design, Fine Art, Creative Digital Media, Illustration and Graphic Design & Multimedia degree courses.
There are more than 100 students exhibiting this year, with work being presented at the University’s City Campus, as well as in the studio teaching spaces of The Garage on Hylton Road.
Maureen Gamble, Head of the School of Art, in the University’s Institute of Humanities & Creative Arts, said: “The standard of this year’s show is incredible. This is a fantastic way of celebrating the very talented students we have, as they come to the end of their undergraduate degree with us.
“Many have already won awards, been offered internships and employment opportunities and I am sure each and everyone one of them will go on to have highly successful careers in their chosen paths. I hope the public will take the time to come and take a look at what they have produced.”
The exhibition will run from 10am to 4pm daily.
