Two Worcester men sentenced to three years for selling Class A drugs

TWO Worcester men have been sentenced to three years for selling class A drugs.

Adam Gocman, 18, of Dunmow Avenue,  and Richard Nicklin, 23, of no fixed abode, were arrested on January 28 following a warrant at an address in Glenthorne Avenue in Worcester by Proactive CID officers.

Gocman and Nicklin were inside the property where 112g of crack cocaine, 27g of heroin, phones, £1,000 cash and a hunting knife were found.

At Redditch Crown Court on Friday, the pair were each sentenced to three years in prison for possession with intent to supply a class A drug – heroin and possession with intent to supply a class A drug – crack cocaine.

An order was also made for the forfeiture of the cash, forfeiture and destruction of the drugs, phones and any drug dealing related paraphernalia.

Det Con Paul Luke of Worcester Proactive CID said: “We are pleased to have got Gocman and Nicklin behind bars relatively soon after the warrant in which they were arrested.

“This means two more drug dealers – whose actions cause harm and misery to our communities – off the streets and more disruption to those narcotics supply chain.

“Members of the public can be our eyes and ears on the ground in the fight to keep the streets free from such criminals.”
