A WHITE Mondeo collided with a black Vauxhall Astra in a fatal incident which saw two men die on the A449 in Ombersley.
While the investigation into the incident last night (Wednesday) close to the Ombersley junction on the Worcester-bound carriageway is ongoing, officers believe the Ford Mondeo was travelling in the wrong direction and joined the A449 after taking the incorrect slip road.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and anyone who may have dash-cam footage which can help with their investigation.
“Our thoughts are with both families of the victims at what will be terribly sad time for everyone and next of kin of both victims have been notified,” a force spokesperson said.
