WORCESTERSHIRE Acute Hospitals Charity has launched a partnership with Avant Garde hair and beauty salons in Worcester to reward hard-working NHS staff during the pandemic.
This scheme, which has been jointly driven by the charity and Avant Garde, is designed to officially thank and celebrate the hard work undertaken by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust staff.
The official partnership gives NHS staff special discounts and offers to pamper themselves in Avant Garde’s two hair and beauty salons in Worcester’s St Martin’s Quarter and Warndon Villages.
Alongside this special offer the Avant Garde team will be taking part in fund-raising activities and events for the charity raising funds to support the staff, patients and services of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
On the partnership Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity community fund-raising officer, Nicky Langford said:
“The special offers are perfect for rewarding our staff, for their continued hard work and the funds raised will go a long way to continuing to support staff in a number of different ways following the pressures of the pandemic.
“Our staff across all our hospitals are doing a magnificent job in working to put patients first. They can, and should, feel proud of the many ways in which they have worked together to overcome these challenges.
“This includes frontline staff looking after seriously ill patients and also those working tirelessly behind the scenes to support them.
“Partnerships like this are a small way of saying thank you for their continued compassion and commitment to the people of Worcestershire”.
Ian Beswick, co-owner of Avant Garde said: “We all agree our NHS staff are incredible and this is an official way of thanking them. We are keen to show our support for NHS staff across our Worcestershire community – this is AG’s way of doing that. If you, or a family member or friend works for the NHS, please get in touch.”
