A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of Sean Stevens.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Friday (April 15).
Police charged the teenager with manslaughter following the death of Mr Stevens who lost his life after falling into a canal at Bilford Top Lock on the Worcestershire and Birmingham Canal on March 31.
The youth, who is also accused of assaulting two police officers, did not enter a plea during the hearing.
The court heard results of a second post-mortem examination were awaited as the first had been inconclusive.
The youth was remanded in custody until June 24.
