Teen attacked following Worcester FA Cup tie

A TEENAGE football fan was attacked after he got off a coach returning from Worcester City’s FA Cup tie at Scunthorpe.

The 16-year-old was left with minor head injuries following the assault which occurred on Sabrina Bridge at 7.30pm on Sunday (December 7).

Police said a verbal altercation had taken place on one of the coaches as it returned from Glanford Park and once the victim exited with his two friends and began to walk away a group of three men approached them from behind.

They then assaulted the teen causing the injuries.




The attackers are described as white, the first about 5ft 10 ins tall, of a stocky build and wearing a beige cap and denim jeans.

The second was slightly tanned, about 5ft 9 ins tall, of a slim build and wearing a dark blue cap and denim jeans.


No further description of the third man is known.
