Teen assaulted by child at bus station

A TEENAGER was punched in the chest and threatened by a child thought to be just ten-years-old.

The incident happened on Friday (February 20) about 5.30pm at CrownGate Bus Station on Friary Walk.

The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was walking with a friend towards the market area when he was approached by another young boy.

He pushed the victim up against the wall and punched him in the chest before demanding his scooter and iPod.




Another man broke up the altercation. The victim sustained a slight injury to his chest and his property was not stolen.

The offender is aged about ten-years-old, of a slightly large build, ginger hair, wearing a grey Adidas jacket, tracksuit bottoms and was carrying a bag.
