ANIMAL-LOVERS across the county are being invited to a Kempsey rescue centre to celebrate the opening of its new state-of-the-art rabbit house.

The RSPCA Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at The Holdings will be holding an Easter open day from 10.30am to 3pm on March 31.

There will be a variety of stalls, children’s Easter Egg hunt, magician, prize raffle and a best dressed child Bunny competition.

Light refreshments, prosecco cart and sweet treats will be available on the day.

The newest addition at the five-acre complex will house rabbits and small animals.

Already featuring 20 large pens for cats and kittens, with more funding the centre hopes to incorporate a spacious kennel block, vet rooms and a grooming room.

Entry £1 with under 12s free and free car parking. For more information, visit rspca-worcester.org or their Facebook page: RSPCA Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire Branch.
