KIND-hearted staff at Asda’s Worcester store teamed up with Fortis Living to host a Strawberry Tea Event in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

The lucky residents invited to the event enjoyed an afternoon of delicious cakes and music at the Sky Lounge on top of Cripplegate House last Tuesday (June 14).

They also enjoyed cups of tea, fun and games and live music from local musical duo Glam Sparrow.

All the money raised from the event is going to Breast Cancer Care which will help them provide support for women, men, family and friends affected by breast cancer.

Community Champion at Asda Worcester, John Horsley, said: “We are delighted to join with Breast Cancer Care for its Strawberry Tea fund-raiser.

“We hope the guests of our Strawberry Tea event at the Sky Lounge had as much fun as we did.

“The money raised through Strawberry Teas makes a real difference to people affected by breast cancer.

“Our colleagues and customers at Asda Worcester have always been incredibly supportive of our fundraising activities and I know this time will be no different.”
