Students motivated by speaker

Worcester Editorial 18th Jan, 2017   0

YOUNGSTERS at a Worcester school were treated to a motivational talk to help calm their nerves ahead of the exam period.

Year 11 students at Bishop Perowne CE College received a surprise visit from renowned youth motivational speaker ‘Mr Beezy’ on Monday, January 9, as part of their mock exam results day.

Mr Beezy, whose real name is Adebola Adeoshun, taught the students a number of motivational techniques to ensure they remain focused through the GCSE revision and exam period.

For the past six years, Adebola has been empowering students up and down the country with his ‘Nothing is Impossible’ message.

Mark Pollard, headteacher at Bishop Perowne CE College, said: “Our Year 11s were feeling a bit nervous, but Mr Beezy helped the students take only positives from their mock exam results, whether they were slightly below what they expected or not.

“Year 11 is the most important year in terms of school life, so having Adebola deliver his motivational workshop really helped them get focused.

“They are now ready to push on and achieve the best they possibly can.”
