YOUNGSTERS at a Worcester school have shown off their diverse range of skills at a talent show.
Bishop Perowne CE College pupils recently took to the stage to impress the school’s judging panel with drumming, piano playing, singing and a variety of dance styles in the ‘Bishop’s Got Talent’ show.
Out of the 15 children who took part, Cameron Dixon from Year 7 was crowned overall champion for his street dance routine and was presented with a trophy.
Dancer Felicia Fincher and singer Arune Laurtenaite were close runners-up.
Headteacher Mark Pollard said: “It’s when we do special events like this you realise what a talented bunch of students we have at the school.
“As well as pushing our students in their traditional academic subjects, it’s important for us to encourage them to develop their artistic and extra-curricular skills as well.
“Our Bishop’s Got Talent event is the perfect way of doing this and I must say congratulations to Cameron and all the students who took part.”
