STUDENTS from Worcester have had their literacy work recognised in an anthology.

14-year-old Louis Cartwright-Walls has had his work published in ‘Dedicated to mum – depths of love’, and 15-year-old Rhianne Gale had her work published in a Grim Tales’ anthology.

The Pershore High School students’ had to write stories no longer than 100 words before they were judged and chosen to be published in their respective prestigious titles.

Judge David Melling, said: “The writers’ did extremely well to have won what has been a very difficult competition to judge.




“The standard of entries this year has been really high and entrants have done very well.”
