St John's attack leaves victim with serious head injuries

A MAN is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was attacked by two men in St Johns.

The victim, a 46-year-old man from Pershore, was involved in a physical altercation with another man about 10.20pm last Friday (December 19) and then struck in the head which caused him to fall to the floor.

While he was on the floor, another man approached him and assaulted him.

The victim lost consciousness as a result of the attack and remains in hospital recovering from his injuries.




The first suspect is described as a white man about 6ft 4ins tall, of a skinny build with short slightly wavy hair and missing a tooth. At the time of the incident he was wearing all black clothing.

The second man is described as in his early twenties with short hair and a wispy beard. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white jumper with black trousers.


It is believed that many people were present during the attack and they are encouraged to come forward to police by calling 101.
