Those honoured will include local sporting heroes, high achievers and ambassadors with 14 sponsored award categories including support from main event backer Heart of Worcestershire College.

Matthew Rogers, Freedom Leisure active communities manager, said: “These awards are the highlight of the city’s sporting calendar and we want to reach out and remind local sports organisations, schools, clubs and athletes to nominate their worthy students, coaches and teams for these wonderful awards.
“So, if you know a volunteer, coach, club, team or individual from Worcester who has shown great dedication since August 2018 then show them the recognition they deserve by nominating.
“These awards really are a celebration of the city’s talent in grass roots sport, and one we are extremely proud to produce”.
The deadline for nominations is midday on Sunday, August 4.
