A GLITTERING ‘snow ball’ has raised more than £21,000 for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.
The second annual Worcester Snow Ball raised the funds for the Breast Unit on Saturday (December 3) at the Bank House Hotel in Bransford, where more than 300 guests were treated to a prosecco reception, three-course dinner with wine, a live band and a disco.
The Bituchem Group sponsored the dinner and Harrison Clark Rickerbys and SJL Insurance sponsored the table wine.
Breast Unit Events, who organised the ball, is run by Kate Butler and Susie Coleman in their spare time and they seek the support of local businesses to help.
Ms Butler said: “The first Worcester Snow Ball in 2014 raised more than £17,000 for the Worcestershire Breast Unit, and this year our target was to raise more than £20,000.
“Our charity raffle, auction and casino raised more than £10,000 alone, so we’re so grateful to all our guests for digging deep and helping us generate funds for this amazing cause.”
