Sparkling anniversary for city jeweller

Worcester Editorial 6th Dec, 2016   0

AN AWARD-winning Worcester jeweller has marked her 21st anniversary in the city.

Jewellery designer Anja Potze, who first opened her Friar Street store back in 1995, has marked the milestone by thanking customers who have supported her over the past 21 years.

Her business was recently rated as one of the top jewellers in Worcester by the website Three Best Rated and she has also taken on two new members of staff in the past 18 months.

Anja moved from the Netherlands to England when she was just 21 years-old and during her career has designed pieces for a number of famous people, including former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

“To be celebrating our 21st birthday here in Worcester is amazing and I want to say thank you to all our customers, new and old,” Anja said.

“It’s a big milestone for any business and we wouldn’t be here without that support.

“Over recent years we have added expertise to our team, invested in our Friar Street store, regularly unveiled beautiful designs and launched a new website which has ensured our customers can shop with us whenever and wherever they please. It’s essential we continue to be innovative.

“We are ready for another 21 years here in Worcester, a city which at the moment is thriving. With new collections set to be launched for Christmas, it’s an exciting future ahead.”
