POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three died in a collision in Worcester, including a six-year-old boy.
The collision happened at around 3pm yesterday (Thursday) on the A44, Spetchley Road when a white BMW 3 series collided with a white Ford Mondeo.
The driver of the Mondeo, a woman aged 26, and the passenger, a woman aged 39 were pronounced dead at the scene.
A six-year-old boy, who was also in the Mondeo, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but died shortly after arrival.
Two men, who were both in the BMW, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
Ch Insp Mark Davidson said: “This is an incredibly sad incident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the people who have sadly died.
“I urge anybody who witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage to contact the police as you may be able to help with our investigation into what happened”.
