Update: Woman raped in Warndon Villages attack

A WOMAN in her 20s was raped in Warndon Villages yesterday morning.

The victim is being supported by specially trained officers after the attack, which occurred between 2am and 3.30am yesterday (Wednesday).

Officers from Worcester CID are conducting a investigation and are actively pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.

A cordon was put in place round Plantation Drive and Woodgreen Drive following the incident.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 62S of Wednesday 15 June.
