A SECOND man has been arrested in connection with a murder investigation in Worcester.
Emergency services attended an address on Surman Street around 6am on Thursday February 26 following the report of a garage on fire and the body of a man was found inside.
A 34-year-old man was arrested that day on suspicion of murder, and he has since been released under investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher said: “Our investigation into the death of a man in Worcester continues and as part of our extensive enquiries we yesterday (Wednesday March 4) arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of murder and GBH and he remains in custody.”
West Mercia Police released information last week that it believed the murder is linked to a dispute between the homeless community in the city.
