A ROWDY shoplifter who was proving a nuisance to stores in Worcester has been banned from six of them for two years.

Justin Wynne, 46, of no fixed abode, was served with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) on Tuesday, December 23 at Worcester Magistrates Court.

The CBO prohibits Wynne from entering Tesco on Foregate Street, Boots on the High Street and Holland & Barrett on Mealcheapen Street.

Wynne is also banned from the Tesco Express on the High Street,  the Perfume Shop on Chapel Walk and the Silver Street Asda.

He is also prohibited from refusing to leave any premises when asked by someone who has authority to do so within Worcester City Centre.

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Worcester, Tanya Beckett, said: “We are pleased to get this CBO for Wynne whose antisocial and rowdy behaviour and shoplifting are a nuisance to retailers and the public in the city centre.

“Anyone who sees Wynne breaching the terms of his CBO should report it to West Mercia Police via 101 or online at https://www.westmercia.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/.”
