FOUR-LEGGED friends big and small are being invited to a special pet blessing service in Worcester.

St. Wulstan’s Parish Church in Warndon, will be holding the service on Sunday (September 6) on its lawn where all furry companions including puppies, kittens and bunnies will be celebrated.

Rev Charles Thomas, who took over in the parish church in May, said: “Our welcome extends to the pets in the parish as well as the people who live in Warndon.

“Pets are wonderful companions and much loved members of the families they live in, so do come along and join with others who love their pets in giving a big thank you to God for all they mean to us.”

The service starts at 3pm and will last around 30 minutes with refreshments, water for pets and ‘doggie bags’ being provided.

Call Rev Thomas on 01905 754385 for more information.
