STAFF and residents at Latimer Court care home are celebrating after it was rated good by Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors.
CQC inspected Latimer Court last month and rated the home, run by Barchester Healthcare, as good with a responsive, safe, effective, caring and well-led service.
The report contained feedback from residents and families, with one family member who said: “Donna the manager is very proactive and most helpful when needing advice, her door is always open and email response is immediate.”
Another comment in the report from a family member said: “The duty staff are available on a daily basis and always advise about changes to medication and any needs.
“They do not wait for formal meetings…the staff don’t just do their jobs but care. Everyone irrespective of role knows me and who my family member is.”
Donna Tustin, general manager at Latimer Court said: “I am so proud of the team, I can’t thank them enough for their hard work and commitment.
“Also a huge thank you to our residents and their families who have been so supportive too.”
