WORCESTER’s MP Robin Walker took part in question time at Bishop Perowne CE College where he was quizzed on a variety of topics.
Students in years ten and 11 asked questions on subjects such as Brexit, university fees and whether 16-year-olds should be able to vote.
Headteacher Mark Pollard, said: “The students asked some particularly engaging questions about issues affecting them and we would like to thank Mr Walker for taking the time to give answers at what is a particularly busy time at Westminster.
“He congratulated us on the ‘Good’ judgement at our recent Ofsted inspection and promised to continue to fight for fairer school funding, so the pressure on our school finances, together with those of all schools in Worcester, is reduced.”
