THE WORCESTER Observer’s popular Baby Photo Competition makes a return to the city next week.

Professional portrait photographer, Andrea Powell, will be in Unit 24 (formerly Hype) in Reindeer Court from Monday (September 15) until Wednesday, September 24, from 10am to 4.30am except on Sunday.

Parents will then be invited back in the days that follow to choose a snap of their little one to enter into the competition and will also be offered the opportunity to buy a selection of prints, although they are under no obligation to do so.

A shortlist of babies, aged 0-17 months and toddlers aged 18 months to three-years-old will then appear in the Observer when readers will have the chance to vote for a winner and runner up in each category.

First prize for each winner is an enormous 20in x 16in canvas wall print worth at least £200 while the second prize is a 12in x 10in portrait worth around £100.

Please note the judges’ decision on shortlisting is final.

Employees of Bullivant Media Ltd and their families are not eligible to enter.
