TWO Worcester schools teamed up to raise hundreds of pounds for the Maggs Day Centre by bag packing at a city supermarket.
Students from Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College and St Joseph’s Primary School bag packed for four hours at Tesco in St Peters on Thursday, November 17 and raised £500 for the homeless centre.
To raise the cash, pupils paired up at the tills offering to pack customers’ bags in the hope they would make a donation.
Pupils also stood with buckets as customers were walking by.
