TECH-SAVVY youngsters from a Worcester school visited the Next Generation Innovators show to learn about creative science and technology.
Year 7 pupils from Bishop Perowne CE College’s ‘Endeavour Programme’ recently went to the show to take part in various workshops and talks held by leading experts.
The 32 pupils also got hands-on with virtual reality, learned how to programme minicomputer boards and discovered what is required to get a rocket, satellite, probe and even a human into space.
Headteacher Mark Pollard said: “Giving our students the opportunity to attend events like this improves their understanding of how science, maths and technology work together.
“They all thoroughly enjoyed the trip and it really highlighted the kind of exciting and innovating careers available to them in these fields.”
