CARING youngsters from St Clement’s CE Primary School paid a visit to YMCA Worcestershire in St Johns to make Christmas puddings to raise money for the charity.
Pupils from year six got stuck in and learnt what goes in to making the festive desserts.
The children will have made more than 500 Christmas puddings that the school will then sell just in time for Christmas.
The money raised will go to YMCA Worcestershire to raise money for the dining room renovation.
The children made the puddings with the head chef Nathan Hodgetts and were very excited about making the puddings and interested in the ingredients that went in to making the puddings.
Charlotte Steventon from YMCA said: “We hope that the children had fun and will go away with an interest in cooking.
“It is great to work with the local community especially when we both share the same Christian ethos.”
