CHRISTMAS has started early in Worcester with preparations already underway for the Victorian Christmas Fayre.
With bookings now open for stalls, entertainment and coaches, this year’s 24th anniversary event, which will run from November 24 to 27, is set to be bigger than ever.
According to official figures from Worcester-based company The Research Solution, last year’s event saw more than £8m put back into the city’s economy and of that, more than £7m was additional expenditure which would not have occurred without the Christmas Fayre taking place.
