Person trapped after crash on Bromyard Road

FIREFIGHTERS released a person trapped following a two-vehicle crash on Bromyard Road last night.

At 6:25pm, three crews from Worcester Fire Station attended the crash, which involved two vehicles, one of them going into a lamp post.

One person was released from the car prior to the arrival of fire crews and another, who was severely trapped, was released by firefighters using extrication equipment.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service tweeted that the road was blocked due to the crash and motorists were being advised to avoid the area.

Police and an ambulance were also in attendance.
