Three arrested after South Worcestershire machete robbery

TWO men and a boy have been arrested after an armed robbery in Pershore which saw a man threatened with machetes.

A 19-year-old man was arrested today and remains in custody. An 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were arrested yesterday (Thursday) and have been released on bail.

The incident took place on St Andrews Road at about 5.30pm on Sunday (January 21).

The victim arranged to meet someone to buy his motorbike.

Whilst unloading the bike from his trailer one man and four people wearing balaclavas threatened him with machetes. One of the gang then stole the bike.

All three were arrested on suspicion of robbery.




Officers continue to search for the remaining two suspects and motorbike.
