Panto pair hatch a second award

A TALENTED duo from Kays Theatre Group are aiming for a hat trick after recently scooping their second award at the National Operatic and Dramatic Society’s regional awards.

Rachel Sedgley and Paula Dymock were the production combo for the prize winning ‘Babes in the Wood’, which won Best Regional Pantomime.

Rachel and Paula are masterminding the next Kays’ production of Mother Goose, their third show for Kays Theatre Group, and are busy pulling together set, props and costumes.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity, once again, to produce for Kays Theatre Group,” Rachel said.




“We have a fabulous script, written by Paul Milton, and are looking forward to sharing our ideas with everyone at get togethers to be held in August.

Auditions will take place in September and the show will also feature dancers from Harlequin Stage School, fresh from their performances at the Dance World Cup.


The next Kays Panto, Mother Goose, is staged at the Swan Theatre from January 26 to February 5 2017.

Get together meetings, to which all are welcome, are on Tuesday, August 30 and Thursday, September 1 at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club at 7.30 pm.

Auditions will follow on Sunday, September 4.
