A VEHICLE owner in Hindlip has became the latest in Worcester to suffer from opportunist thieves attempting to steal valuables and cars in the region.
The vehicle damage and attempted theft occurred when an offender smashed the passenger window of a Ford KA which was parked in a garden on Pershore Lane between 11am on August 25 and 3.30pm on August 26.
Recently the Observer reported about the rise in opportunist thieves in the Warndon area of Worcester which caused Lib Dem Worcester City and Warndon Parish Councillor Sarah Murray to call on West Mercia’s Police and Crime Commissioner to tackle the issue.
This incident shows other Worcester neighbourhoods are experiencing similar problems.
