A WORCESTER care home threw a double celebration to toast its second anniversary and ‘Care Home Open Day’.
Staff and residents at Perry Manor hosted an array of activities for all ages including balloon volleyball and a tombola.
There was also live entertainment from The Jookulele Band and healthy eating advice for the elderly.
The annual Care Home Open Day is aimed at challenging perceptions of care homes and creating lasting links between the homes, residents and their local communities, along with developing relationships across generations.
Pushpa Sagoo, home manager at Perry Manor, said it was a wonderful day.
“Our home is always open to guests, but it was wonderful to have a day to bring together visitors, residents and colleagues to highlight all the good work we do.”
