Oldbury Park youngsters devise a Fayre way to be festive

YOUNGSTERS and staff at a Worcester primary school celebrated the festive period with a Christmas Fayre full of exciting and festive activities to help everyone feel merry.

Oldbury Park, which is a part of Central Region Schools Trust, saw its Santa’s grotto on the school stage prove so popular it was brought back for an extra night.

Year six pupils took part in running their own stalls and came up with innovative and fun games with exciting prizes for guests to win.

The fayre was organised by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) who work closely with the school to create exciting opportunities to support the pupils, staff and wider community.

It has been a successful year for the school’s PTA, who have managed to swell their numbers thanks to their enthusiasm and proactive approach.

Principal Lee Card said: “What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of term and reward our pupils for the amazing work they have been doing. I am so proud of our year six pupils for taking responsibility and coming up with really inventive stalls for our fayre.

“Thank you again to the members of our PTA and everyone else who contributed to making it such a special evening.”
