Why not put your little treasure in the frame?

THE WORCESTER Observer’s popular Baby Photo Competition is set to make a return to the city.

Professional portrait photographer, Andrea Powell, will be in the Green Room at the Guildhall from next Tuesday (August 30) to Saturday (September 3) from 10am to 4pm each day.

Parents will then be invited back in the days that follow to choose a snap of their little one to enter into the competition and will also be offered the opportunity to buy a selection of prints, although they are under no obligation to do so.

A shortlist of babies, aged 0-17 months and toddlers aged 18 months to 36 month old will then appear in the Observer when readers will have the chance to vote for their winner in each category.

First prize in each category is an enormous 20in x 24in framed canvas wall portrait of your child (worth at least £200).

After all the photographs have been taken and selected, the Observer will shortlist entries in each age group. We will publish those shortlisted, all in full colour.

Please note the judges’ decision on shortlisting is final, and no correspondence whatsoever will be entered into with regard to the reasons for choosing, or not choosing, any particular picture(s).

Employees of Bullivant Media Ltd and their families are not eligible to enter.
