WADDLE for Worcester has introduced a new shiny sculpture which will join 40 other baby penguins on display in the city centre businesses.

As well as 40 other sculptures, ‘Ice-Ickle’ will be available for auction at the end of the event.

Sara Matthews, business development manager for St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We’re so excited to introduce the coolest little fella on the trail. Fully reflective – from beak to foot – this penguin represents the work of the St Richard’s Hospice Family Support Team who use reflection to support loved ones, foster insight and empower families during their grief journey.

“Ice-Ickle is the only baby penguin which will be up for auction this October. We hope bidders will dig deep to support St Richard’s and secure this little nestling a forever home.”

The art trail is available until September, 15 and after there will be a chance to see all penguins huddled together.
