DRIVERS could finally see a reduction in the amount it costs to fill up their car, as fuel prices are set to drop for the first time after months of soaring costs.
According to the AA Group, the prices at petrol pumps have begun to fall from the start of the month which were 191.53p for petrol and 199.07p for diesel.
Now the average prices for drivers are down to 188.76p per litre for petrol and 196.96p per litre for diesel.
The drop in fuel prices means that drivers could save themselves around £10 when filling up the tank over the next two weeks.
According to the RAC though, the average price of petrol fell to 187.54p per litre on Wednesday (July 20), while the average for diesel fell to 196.12p per litre.
