The Trek Marlin 7 was locked in a cycle rack in The Butts and was taken around 12.30pm today.

In a second incident in The Butts at 2pm today, a Voodoo Bantu mountain bike was also taken.

The bike was grey with a bright neon orange colour on the frame.

That was worth £400.

A man was seen riding away from the scene of the theft. He was white with dark longish hair and was wearing trousers and a dark grey hoodie.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
