A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Whittington last night (Wednesday).
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were called at 10.06pm to reports a motorbike had hit street furniture on Church Lane.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a critical care car from Midlands Air Ambulance and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended the scene.
A WMAS spokeswoman said: “On arrival we found the motorcyclist. He was assessed and had sustained serious injuries.”
After treating the man at the scene, he was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
