A DISTURBANCE at a Lowesmoor property has seen police arrest two men.
Police were called to Southfield Street at about 5.40am this morning (Friday) and the road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
Southfield Street had now reopened although officers remain in the area. Two men aged 44 and 35 have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Chief Insp David Troth said: “I’d like to thank members of the public for their co-operation and understanding while we dealt with this incident.
“The incident was an isolated and we do not believe there was a wider risk to the public.
“Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
